Nalo Hopkinson

Nalo is a Jamaican-Canadian author whose work has received the World Fantasy Award, the Andre Norton Nebula award, and the Sunburst Award for Canadian Fiction of the Fantastic. Between 2018 and 2020 she was writing the Sandman comics series “House of Whispers” for DC Comics. She currently lives in Southern California, where she’s on faculty in the Creative Writing Department of the University of California Riverside. She’s also part of a faculty research cluster in science fiction.
