BRIAN NELSON writes science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other genre thrillers for film and television. His screenplays include HARD CANDY (Sundance selection, Best Screenplay Sitges International Festival), 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, and DEVIL. Television work includes the ABC miniseries adaptation of 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, ALTERED CARBON (Netflix), DA VINCI’S DEMONS (Starz), 11.22.63 (Hulu), NIGHTFLYERS (Syfy), MURDER IN THE FIRST (TNT), LOIS AND CLARK (ABC), SO WEIRD (Disney Channel), and GENE RODDENBERRY’S EARTH: FINAL CONFLICT (syndicated). With actor Chris Conner, he is the co-creator of the scripted paranormal thriller podcast AGENT STOKER (Best Horror/Paranormal Podcast, PopCon 2022), available wherever podcasts are found. He holds degrees from Yale and UCLA, and is also the author of EARTH BOUND: DAILY MEDITATIONS FOR ALL SEASONS (Skinner House Books).
