Michael Solis

Michael Solis is a writer of science fiction, fantasy, and creative non-fiction. He has worked extensively in development and humanitarian action in Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Latin America, with a focus on civil society and local leadership. Michael graduated from Princeton University and holds master’s degrees in Human Rights Law and Gender Studies. Through his travels, Michael developed a passion for storytelling, drawing inspiration from his diverse experiences around the world and his queer identity. Deficient is his award-nominated debut novel. Originally from New Jersey, Michael currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland.
