The SFWA Comics Committee invites all members interested in comics to a virtual meetup. The meet-up will include a 30-minute presentation by Ben Wilgus — a freelance editor for First Second Books, as well as a writer of graphic novels such as Grace Needs Space and The Mars Challenge — on the topic of how large traditional publishing houses work with cartoonists and comics writers to bring their books to life. The second 30 minutes is for discussion and to provide our comics writers a chance to get acquainted with colleagues in the field.
