Mark W. Tiedemann

Mark W. Tiedemann is the author the Secantis Sequence, Remains, and Granger’s Crossing, as well as eighty short stories. Compass Reach, volume one of the Secantis Sequence, was short-listed for the Philip K. Dick Award and is to be reissued from Histria Books. Remains, a stand-alone science fiction mystery, was shortlisted for the James Tiptree Jr Award (now known as the Otherwise Award). Granger’s Crossing is a historical mystery, the first volume in a series set in Colonial St. Louis. He has also published novels in the Asimov’s Robot universe and the Terminator universe. His short fiction has appeared in Asimov’s SF, Analog, the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Science Fiction Age, and several anthologies. Between 2002 and 2011 he served on the board of the Missouri Center for the Book, the state affiliate of the Library of Congress Center for the Book, five years as president. As well, he is an avid photographer and amateur musician. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
