Mark Tompkins

Mark Tompkins’ debut novel, The Last Days of Magic (published by Penguin Random House), was hailed by The Washington Post as “a beautifully detailed book and an entertaining read” and named one of the best new books by People Magazine. Apple TV hired him as an executive producer and writer for a show based on his novel. Mark is a co-founder of the Aspen Writers’ Network and serves on the board of Aspen Words, a program of the Aspen Institute. Mark is currently writing a neo-noir detective novel blended with fantasy and set in a semi-dystopian near future.
