Carol Gyzander

Bram Stoker Award®-nominated author Carol Gyzander writes and edits sci-fi, suspense, and horror, including tentacular eco-horror. Often woman-centered, her stories are “twisted tales that touch your heart.” Her cryptid novella, FORGET ME NOT, is by NeoParadoxa. Her short stories are in numerous anthologies and magazines, including “The Yellow Crown” in UNDER TWIN SUNS: ALTERNATE HISTORIES OF THE YELLOW SUN (Hippocampus Press, 2021) and WEIRD TALES 367.

Carol co-edited the EVEN IN THE GRAVE ghost story anthology (NeoParadoxa, July 2022) and A WOMAN UNBECOMING horror anthology (Crone Girls Press, October 2022) benefitting reproductive healthcare services and inspired by the reversal of Roe v. Wade. She’s edited four anthologies of punk genre stories inspired by classic works for Writerpunk Press.
