Alex Tommi

Alex completed in 2014 an M.A. in Creative Writing, in Montreal, during which they studied a variety of questions, including, but not limited to, the familial biography, the aesthetics of the archive, and the generational transmission of trauma. They also wrote a bit about Derrida, but shyly, on the down low, lest onlookers realize they don’t really know what they’re talking about.

They later went on to work in the video games industry as a designer and writer, where they took the drama down a notch by tinkering with lighter things, such as death, mourning, and materialist transcendence. Sometimes, lumberjacks.
