SFWA EVENTS
Welcome to quasar: sfwa’s first-ever fall online nebula event!

It’s Live! Time to get this party started!
Welcome, Quasarites! Thank you for signing up to experience the joys of this November’s panels, workshops, and special presentations. We’ve got a terrific program for you, and you’re going to be in for a treat with our events for professional and professionalizing writers.
And remember: It’s okay if you can’t attend everything this weekend! You have access to all of Quasar’s regular programming, excluding only break-out room activities and Office Hours, until June 2, 2026. That’s when we’ll be gearing up to our next “flight” in Chicago!
If you like what you see at Quasar, please keep us in mind for the Nebulas next June. Early bird pricing goes up in January, so this is a terrific time to lock in your next flight out with us.
And have you joined our Winter Worlds of Giving campaign trail? Yes, we’re fundraising, but we also want to be with you on your own writing campaigns, too. Share your goal and sign up for resources and mailouts from now until January 31, 2026.
As the theme of Quasar this year suggests, we are in it for the whole writer.
Because we are stronger together in the face of whatever happens next in our industry, we look forward to voyaging with you and your fellow creators for many years more.
So welcome again! Enjoy Quasar! We hope you can make some great new professional connections through our presentations or via our Discord channels and social suite on Saturday, November 15, from 7:30pm to 12am PST.
Also, don’t miss our very special presentation on Sunday, November 16. That’s when Grand Masters Lois McMaster Bujold and Nicola Griffith will be in conversation ahead of our announcement for the 42nd Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award.
Our Toastmaster and Grand Master Speeches

To keep the joy of our diamond-year at SFWA going, we were thrilled to announce early-bird pricing for next year’s Nebula Conference at this year’s Nebula Awards Ceremony.
From now until December 31, general registration to our 61st Nebula Awards Conference in Chicago, June 2-7, is only $250 USD.
We’ll touch base later about Nebula Banquet pricing, but for now: Spread the word about this limited-time discount to all our regular conference programming, and keep the magic of the Nebs alive! We hope to see you again soon!
