About the Nebulas
The Nebula Awards® are voted on, and presented by, Full, Associate, and Senior members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association. Founded as Science Fiction Writers of America in 1965 by Damon Knight, the organization began with a charter membership of 78 writers; it now has over 2,500 members.

Speculative Poetry OPEN MIC

The SFWA Poetry Committee presents its Quarterly Poetry Open-Mic. Come and read your poetry to your fellow SFWA poets. This is an interactive online event hosted by Poetry Committee co-chair Wendy Van Camp. Our featured poet for January is Sultana Raza. Her work has appeared in “Abyss & Apex”, “Star*line”, and “Silver Blade”, with a story forthcoming in Flame Tree Publishing’s “Achilles Anthology”. An independent scholar and accomplished poet, Sultana has presented on Keats and Tolkien at international conferences and read her work across Europe and the U.S. Her writing blends vivid imagination with deep literary insight.
Speculative Poetry Book Club

A meeting of the speculative poetry book club. At the third meeting, we will discuss F. J. Bergmann’s chapbook “Shelf Life.” No poetry expertise required! The discussion will be run by Mary Soon Lee, a Grand Master of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association.
