What’s On Your Schedule?
The majority of events on our schedule are panels or presentations – over 50 this year! To learn more details about a specific event, you can click on its schedule slot and a larger description will pop open. Don’t forget that you can also attend panels online! Additional opportunities that our in-person guests may enjoy:
Hospitality Suite: During the posted hours, the Hospitality Suite will be available in the Garden Room for attendees to enjoy some refreshements and conversation with each other.
Volunteer Suite: Volunteers have access to a VIP suite during the conference, where they can relax, have a snack, and enjoy an amazing view of the Disney fireworks at night! If you’re not a volunteer, visit the registration table to sign up.
Mentorships: These sessions are for mentors and mentees who signed up for the mentorship program prior to the conference weekend. All involved parties should have received a survey to assist our mentorship coordinator in arranging for your mentorship pairing and session, whether online or in Anaheim. If you have questions about conference mentorships, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Receptions: Each night of the conference, we have a special reception planned after hours, both in-person and in the McKinley Suite.

- Alternate Universe Speeches, Sunday, May 14, 10:30pm to 11:30pm, at the Garden Room
Committee Tables: Several SFWA committees are hosting Committee Tables throughout the conference. This is your chance to meet committee members and find out about the roles of each committee.
Autographing Sessions: Please visit our autograph schedule for more details about what authors will be signing when. If you are an autographing author and you have questions about your session, contact email@example.com.
Pop-Up Bookstore: Octavia’s Bookshelf will be selling books onsite on Friday, 1:00pm-5:30pm and Saturday, 9:00am-6:00pm. Inspired by Octavia E. Butler, who was born and raised in Pasadena, and her legacy, the bookstore’s mission is to offer magical and rich stories to readers of all backgrounds, interests, and ages.
Photography Room: Explore the work of our official conference photographer, Richard Man. Throughout the conference, Richard will be taking professional headshots at a discounted rate for anyone who needs an official author photo. Sign up with the sheet on the door, or sign up in advance by contacting: firstname.lastname@example.org or (650) 315-7567. If you would like to print a copy of your headshot onsite, 4×6 copies are available for $3 each (pay by cash, Venmo, or PayPal) in addition to the photography fee.
